The bond combines new construction with major investments in the schools Wake County already has.
The plan includes $143.2 million for three new elementary schools focused on Wake County's growth areas: Little Creek Elementary, Marshburn Road Elementary, and Poole Road Elementary.
It also includes $372.2 million to start or complete renovations at nine schools, plus funding for HVAC and building systems, safety and security, technology infrastructure, support facilities, accessibility, and future property needs.
